Hey everyone! It’s great to be back after a little break. Since I last posted, RMS has launched some exciting new products, including their tinted SPF 50 and a collection of Legendary Nude Lipsticks. Today, I’m diving into these products to see if they’re worth your investment.

Check out the products I used here

Tinted SPF 50: Sun Cover Up Super Tint

Let’s kick things off with RMS’s Sun Cover Up Super Tint. This tinted sunscreen promises to be a hybrid between makeup and skincare. It claims to provide lightweight, breathable coverage with SPF 50, thanks to 12% non-nano zinc oxide.

I have the shade Alabaster, a neutral fair tone. The packaging is lovely—a glass bottle with a pump. When applying, the texture feels pleasantly thin, making it easy to layer without feeling heavy, which is crucial for a tinted sunscreen.

Using a brush for application ensures that the sunscreen remains effective, as water can break it down. The initial application was stunning! It provided a light to medium coverage that beautifully evened out my skin tone without settling into texture.

Concealer and Setting Powder

Next, I tried the Bare Minerals Bare Pro 16-Hour Wear Matte Concealer in Fair 100 Cool. This concealer has a liquid texture that blends seamlessly, especially when used with a sponge. To set everything, I went with the Dermablend Loose Setting Powder in Translucent. It did a great job keeping the concealer from settling into lines.

Bronzer, Blush, and Highlighter

For bronzer, I grabbed my trusty RMS Bew Walk Betty Bronzer, which gives the perfect glow without looking orange. I also used a cool-toned contour powder from the Sephora Collection to define my cheekbones.

For blush, I went with the RMS Hydra Blush in Bermuda Rose, and I topped off my cheeks with a light dusting of Fenty Beauty’s Kilowatt Highlighter.

Eye Makeup

Moving on to the eyes, I created a simple look with a mix of shades from my custom Natasha Denona palettes. I kept it understated to highlight the lipsticks later.

Legendary Nude Lipsticks

Now onto the exciting part: RMS’s new Legendary Serum Lipsticks. I have three shades to swatch: Eve, May, and Naomi. The packaging is surprisingly substantial and feels luxe.

  1. Eve: A neutral shade that leans warm.
  2. May: A true neutral mauve that also pulls slightly warm.
  3. Naomi: A berry nude that’s the coolest of the bunch and my personal favorite.

The formula is interesting—hydrating with a matte finish, thanks to cherry fruit water as the first ingredient. It feels refreshing, almost like a balm, which is not typical for a matte lipstick.

Final Thoughts

After a full day of wear (about nine hours), I found that the tinted SPF was still looking beautiful on my skin. While I did experience some oiliness, particularly around my chin, the coverage held up nicely overall.

If you have oily skin, just be prepared for the product to get a bit glowy throughout the day. But honestly, I view it as a solid foundation with SPF benefits.

As for the lipsticks, the unique formula definitely impressed me. If you’re looking for a hydrating matte lipstick, I highly recommend trying to find a shade that suits you.
